After becoming sucked into this fabulous new craze of internet podcasting - often listening to hours upon hours of shows while at work every day - I've rounded up some fellow gaming fiends to record one of our own. Crieff, Gil, Jamdunc and Tom have joined me for a mammoth bullshit-fest on all things gaming, from PC and console releases, to the latest goings-on with the handhelds.
For those unfamiliar with the term, podcasts are essentially a form of internet talk radio. Although a relatively new concept, podcasting has become a bit of a phenomenon over the past year or so, covering pretty much every single topic under the sun, and opening up a whole new world of radio-type content for people to enjoy on their computers, and on the move. No, you don't need an iPod...or any other MP3 player.
While there are many gaming podcasts already out there, there seems to be a glut of any concentrating on actual reviews though. Many simply regurgitate the same old news headlines as their peers, week in, week out, and fail to concentrate on what matters; the actual games.
As a result, for our wee little endeavour you'll find little in the way of news, and instead a whole host of mini-reviews and in-depth opinions on the latest games we've picked up, rounded off each episode by a big arse round-table discussion on one title in particular. For this opener, we've all buggered off to play Oblivion on the PC for a couple of weeks, and have now returned to discuss our final thoughts and opinions. Is it a complete gush-fest, or a five man rant? Grab the MP3 and find out.
You can snag the episode below, or alternatively subscribe to the show directly through
iTunes...that is, when Apple pull their finger out and get it listed.

UPDATE: Unfortunately the podcasts have been put on hold since posting this, and previous shows also removed to save bandwidth. Will we return? Perhaps. If you complain loud enough.
