How to get Support

At clanplanet we do our very best to help our customers no matter how big or small the request is.

We have technicians available via email and phone during normal office hours and outwith those hours we regularly check our email, answer calls and provide support from our home pc's or our PDA's.

You can see the type of support we provide in the adjacent table, and below we explain the best methods of contact for your problem or enquiry.

We recommend that all support contact is done via our support ticket system. This allows all jobs to be monitored and logged correctly as well as allowing every member of the Clanplanet team able to reply to the ticket and provide the best level of support.

It is important to contact us via the best means but please remember that incorrect methods of gaining support will result in no response from the CP team. This page will describe what methods of communication is best to use depending on your needs.

Support Tickets - Recommended Method

if you require help with your server then it is best to post a support ticket, as support tickets are available for all of our admins to see. It's best not to limit yourself by emailing one admin who could be unavailable for a while! It's also hard to keep track of emails when we receive literally hundreds per day (mostly spam!). Our support ticket system was introduced to combat the problem of emails being lost, to lessen our workload and to identify patterns in requests where new ways of working are needed for better customer service!
If your request is urgent then you should post a support ticket AND follow up with a phone call to state how urgent the problem is. Although our ticketing system allows you to set a High, Medium or Low priority to your own tickets.

Telephone Support

Contact us by phone for direct sales questions or to notify us of urgent problems. We are happy to help with any questions by phone. Usually we are away from the phones doing work on servers, so please leave a voicemail with your name, phone number and the best time to call you back.

If you call is urgent then try emailing us, as we regularly check email outwith office hours.

Our Live Chat facility was recently set up for prospective customers to easily contact us with general questions. If an admin is online then dont hesitate to get in touch with us. We will do our best to help you out with your pre-sales questions. Since the live chat does not guarantee that we are speaking to an account holder or admin of a server, we will not provide server support through this method.
