See many people think that a life in game servers is an easy business... They think you just sit around and play games all the time?! Well thats aload of rubbish! For the one time in the last 3 months, I had a quite moment to sit down and throw in my Battlefield 2 CD and teach everyone how BF2 should really be played.. After grabbing my self a cold beer and putting the glory of internet radio on full I was pretty pished off to find that my CD had been nicked

Anyway, for the last few months (as mentioned in an earlier article) I have been updating the website as lets be honest.... Its been neglected! Well truth to my word, in the new day or so we should be online. Ok ok most of you wont notice any difference but its the programming what has happened in the background which makes it all special. Every page has alot more content on concerning Clanplanet and our services to help everyone.

Sorry we haven't been updating this too much, alots going on at Camp CP.

The Match server got its first customer this week, thats before it's actually been posted on the website! A Good sign for me and the rest of us. We've also updated the Mani admin plugin mod for the clanpanel to cater for a few problems with the previus release, that's all working ok now and i've alo enalbed zblock 3.2.2 to be applied to All Counterstrike Source server customers. If you want a cheat free game, get it installed

As per an earlier post of mine, i've been on web dev. duties for a complete update of all our site content. While this only gets a reaction of "Meh" from most people , I tell you what we have a nice few changes that I cant wait to show off

It seems every day since last week when we started work on the match box, i cant stop things flying into my head. Its actually good, but sometimes bad. I want to bed the other night around 3, and as soon as my eyes shut i was already thinking of other ways to get this box to be awesome. I've got papers all over my desk of stuff i've had ideas about, and now its just sorting them and applying.

Lo all, just thought i'd give an update on the CSS match box stuff.

Basically, after about 3 weeks of planning and such, the box is now ALMOST ready. It's going to be a dedicated box for teams who wanna play league matches on a server just for them.

The match box was test last night after we made a few changes and its smooth as the birds legs, and shes one of them who uses that venus desire shite.

Pings are awesome too, and we've added a few mods such as zblock so that you guys don't have to piss around.

Just a few things left to do, and it'll be ready.

I'm basically here to help out and free up some time for the bosses
so they can make things at CP even better. So far so good i guess.

Anyway, its 4am. Chris has been working on one of the new boxes most of the night,
i've been working on content for the website (tedius work for both of us).

A bit about me... hmmm...

Its been a few months since we released our customer review upon you all and we have had some great feedback! For the last week or so all this feedback has been throwing into a to-do-list and changes as we speak are being made. Unlike other providers we listen to our customers even if you do pay us £1.50 month

Well as most of our customers know we did some major upgrades during the weekend. With over a month's notice and then every Monday before we sent out emails to our current customers explaining the future upgrades in place we hoped that everything would go to plan. Well guess what, the one company we had to rely on didnt come through!

While I was driving back home at 5.30 this morning stuffing my face with a Ginsters Pasty and downing a couple of bottles of Poweraid (Blue one of course which I got from the 24hr petrol station close the data centre). I realised I couldnt think of another Gaming Service Provider who would be bombing down the M4 to repair a server at this time of the morning. Most of would left it until late the next business day...

Just to fill you in, our master server which runs our ControlPanel as well as some of our ventrilo and teamspeak clients went unavaliable after nearly 3 months of uptime. While the server its self was online and with all the processes running, no one could ping or connect to the running services. This later turned out to be a network card failure.

Today started as a great day.. managed to have more than 7 hours sleep and went out for a nice "healthy" sunday lunch and my local Weatherspoons but when I returned (slightly drunk after the couple of pints) I had a nasty shock.. all the support tickets where replied too After a strong coffee I realised that our new staff member had been working away with your support and sales requests! Great It meant I was dragged back out to the pub with my flat mates and drank even more .....

So anyway I better introduce him to you all... his name is

Well at last! After a few months of just sitting on our web server and not doing allot but use up file space (a bit like a few of our other projects) we have decided to get our "blog" thing on and give everyone a bit of the boring life our the clanplanet team. Also allows me a break from posting support tickets

Every day we receive multiple emails concerning sponsorship and we reply with the same thing...
